The Doctorate of Sacred Theology (DST) degree is a terminal level professional degree for those who wish to pursue an additional two years of advanced coursework focusing on a particular academic discipline or ministerial and other religious leadership practice.
The DST is extremely customizable and includes eight advanced courses of the student’s choosing. For those pursuing the Disciplinary Concentration, there is a thesis option which requires consent from a faculty member willing to supervise the dissertation. The DST is perfect for graduates holding the STM. The DST is ideal for those who wish to strengthen their knowledge or skills to the benefit of their journey in ministry, academic, or both.
The Doctorate of Sacred Theology (STM) degree provides advanced study for:
