About MSD

Our Purpose:

Midwestern School of Divinity is established for the purpose of providing quality and affordable Biblical/Theological Degree Programs for those who labor in Ministry. We are a Christian institution of higher learning. However, we subscribe to, practice, teach and preach the doctrines of the Church and the faith that was delivered to the Apostles. Midwestern School of Divinity is recognized as one of the official educational institution of the Abyssinian Apostolic Church and its provinces.

Accreditation:

Midwestern School of Divinity has been established for the sole purpose of issuing credentials to men and women as certified, licensed and ordained professional ministers. With this status we may train, as well as endorse ministers of the Abyssinian Apostolic Church and its provinces.

Our emphasis is not to achieve secular accreditation, although we issue degrees for ministry purposes only. Our mission is to equip the minister with practical education for his/her ministry. We continue in this practical path as the means of fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

Midwestern School of Divinity is accredited by non-secular, religious-based, non-governmental accrediting agencies that believe in and promote separation of church and state.
