Doctor of Ministry Program - D.Min.

The Doctorate of Ministry Program (D.Min.) is a 45 credit hour requirement. Up to 25 credits may be awarded through the LEAP Program, requiring the student to complete a minimum of 20 credits.

The Doctor of Ministry Program is a professional degree program offered by Covenant Bible College & Theological Seminary. Ministerial Ordination is available upon completion of the D.Min. Program.

The completion of the Doctorate of Ministry Program requires the student to read textbooks and provide written summations of each section/chapter of the book, as well as the submission of a 5 to 10 page final summation covering the the main points, highlights and applications presented in the text. Additionally, the student will be required to present their own views/oppinions concerning the contents of the textbook and practical applications in his/her own ministry.

Academic Papers - 8 credits

All Doctoral Candidates are required to submit Academic Papers concerning the following topics: 2 credits ea.

The Power of the Church - Political, Social, Economic
World Religions
The Psychology of Christian Counseling
Religious Programming for Youth and Adults

Dissertation

All Doctoral Candidates are required to submit a Doctoral Dissertation on a topic of the student's choosing (approved by the Board) of a minimum of 30,000 words. Credits for the Dissertation shall be awarded as follows:

5 credits - Research
10 credits - Final Product
